A Training Made by Educators for Educators

Session Dates:  July 27-31, 2026


A week-long collaborative learning opportunity for educators and school building staff to deepen their practice and develop improved ways to serve students and families. 


Program Goals and Objectives:



  • Build educators' capacity by developing:
  • an enhanced facilitation skill-set that supports effective conversations of race in the classroom
  • a personal connection and understanding of race, including their own racial identity
  • curriculum content that acknowledges and centers race; including conversation around design and implementation
  • the tools and understanding needed to cultivate a classroom culture that allows space for vulnerability, trust, and truth
  • Build a strong community of educators who are committed to race equity in their practice


Participants will leave with new skills and tools to help navigate challenging conversations of race, design new curriculum, a stronger understanding of racial equity, and will become part of community of like-minded educators with whom they may connect and collaborate with ongoing.

Registration is a $2500 per person investment -- inclusive of continuing education credit fees (through Portland State University)


  • Need based scholarships may be requested
  • Prerequisite: Reframing Racism E-Learning Course or a foundational knowledge of race equity
  • This course is in alignment with ODE Ethnic Studies standards
