Our space is rooted in history and designed for modern gatherings. Originally known as Joe’s Place, a beloved neighborhood bar in the Alberta Arts District, the building has been thoughtfully renovated into a warm, purpose-driven conference and event space—honoring its community roots while creating  a space ideal for a wide range of events, celebrations, and gatherings, including trainings, workshops, parties, team retreats, and creative experiences.

How much is it to rent the space?


Daytime Rental

8:30 am to 5 pm

Monday- Thursday

 $115/hour with a 4 hour minimum


Evening and Weekend Rental

Evenings (5 pm- 11 pm) and Friday-Sunday

$135/ hr with  4 hours minimum


10% discount for multi-day and or greater than 8 hour booking.


A refundable $250 damage and cleaning deposit is required. If the space is not left in the same condition as received, a $100 cleaning fee will apply.



Payments need to be made in full 7 days in advance.  50% of the total amount plus the damage deposit will be returned if cancelled prior to 48 hours of the booking.


What is the layout of the space and how can different areas be used?


The space features a versatile, open-concept layout designed for flexibility and flow. It can easily be adapted to fit your event needs.


Furniture can be rearranged to support:


  • Classroom-style seating
  • Circle work
  • Open dance or movement space
  • Banquet  or cocktail seating


Is catering and and non catered food allowed?


 We have a kitchenette with a microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. We allow outside catering and food at your descretion.


Is alcohol allowed?


Beer and wine are permitted. Please note that a valid liquor license and proof of liability insurance must be provided at least seven (7) days prior to your event.


Cancellation Policy and damage deposit.


We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations in order to receive a 50% refund of your deposit.

We secure a damage deposit of $250.
